a leopard determined is the most difficult (Namibia Photo Travel)

The first thing I learn as African debutants were needed, how difficult it is even very large animals in the wild to discover in the first time. And this is especially true for the rainy season, when no animal is more dependent on the waterholes.

Some animals are indeed equipped with tracking devices, and with time you learn to read the signs, but it will still need a lot of luck to find the appropriate animal to do so. This is particularly true for all predators and there primarily for the leopard.

In Namibia there is some research project, such as the Global Leopard Project on the farm Erindi , dealing specifically with the leopard. Part of the leopards have been equipped with tracking devices for this purpose. And these people know and watch their animals and their prey some detail. With this message you can then participate in a special leopard Game Drive. And yet, then you need very, very lucky to we actually see a leopard.

A leopard can be quite a few meters away from a creeping through the tall grass and you see all the most a few blades of grass that move easily. And this is really a leopard even a very large and powerful feline. Considerably larger and more impressive than I was of the visits to the zoo in memory.
